Food!

Food Glorious Food!

I aspire to be like her, eating, taking photos, eat more, and take more photos! Alas, neither i have the cash to burn (yet) nor the will( blame this on my procrastinating nature). BUT, a step taken forward is still an improvement. Since my mouse died, i shall let the meagre pics do the work.

5 piece tempura. shared 2 with chee. I think i would rather spend the 15++ elsewhere..
But otherwise good. Big big tempura. I like.

what a big bowl..definitely for someone with a big stomach. According to him it tastes ok
(pinky and the big bowl)

Regular chicken katsudon. Well How could you go wrong with a chicken katsudon.

Pork katsudon. Again, hard to go wrong with this.

Again, nothing new at the newly opened Waraku @ heeren(notice the pun here). Probably didn't explore much of the place. Still feel that the one at Central is better. At least i can view the Singapore river from there( Was that the river in the first place?)

and from another place...

Cereal Prawns a.k.a 麦片虾. Also available at your friendly neighbourhood zhi-cha stall

tofu with veg & some mushroom. No idea what it is called. Didn't give me a "WOW" here.

Coffee Pork Ribs.
This is good. Can't believe the combo of coffee with pork. But they manage to infuse it with
the meat. Coupled with the whitey nut( Is this almond?) which gives a stark contrast to the dark brown caramel covered meat.

Sweet and sour fish. Not exceptionally fresh, but otherwise I have no problems with it.

gone!

Roasted chicken. nothing fancy here.

At first i thought it was Kway Tiao with beef. But after i can't find any beef in it. i assume
it was just regular Fried Kway Tiao.

birthday cake! does the birthday boy still have no idea where this came from? :)

Was quite ok. But I don't think i will return for a second helping anyway. Not that i don't like the food there, but i prefer Japanese Food, desserts or buffet. :)

For the uninitiated, Anchorpoint is just opposite IKEA Queensway.
