Inflation is inevitable. But why the hell is prices raising so fast ? Especially in the recent months, When prices of staple grains such as rice, corn, wheat rises. inflation takes place at a rate of a few percentage points per year, but what about wages? they remain stagnant/rises very slowly. one of the most perplexing issues about life. haha.
How about we not shut our choices and be more receptive to technology? Accept more GM food, increase the usage of GM technology in rice grains. The Green revolution that took place in the late 20th century only took place because of technology advances, and more importantly, people are more receptive of the new technology. Why not accept more GM products, if they prove to be safe?
btw, house brand products by ntuc, really sucks. Especially the potato chips.
