gay: stop taking photos of me!!

went to this sushi outlet at International Building, orchard. It is supposedly to be one of the best places for sushi in Singapore that i can afford. Nevertheless, after some fuss we arrived at the place. ( I apologise for the poor quality of the pictures. You can refer to the one in the blog in the link above)

what a cute pufferfish!

We arrived about 30mins after 12, and the place wasn't too crowded. So far so good. Almost immediately after we sat down, we were offered a dish that looks to be the appetizer. It was some slices of seafood marinated in some sauce. Not very informative, but unfortunately i didn't take any pictures of it. It was quite delicious.

Next, a mix of taupok, chicken, gingko nut, and some radish in some broth was served to us by the chef. It was surprisingly refreshing and light.

At the same time, sashimi was served. It consists of about 3 slices of salmon, 2 slices of tuna, slices of squid and some unknown fish with wasabi.

Next up is the main nigiri sushis. At this point the shop was already fully filled. The time isn't even 1pm yet.

The one above is reared salmon(aburi). You can say that this is one of the nicest sushis in the shop

This is basically about all that we have eaten. After this, luqi ordered onigiri (rice ball) and me and jy ordered more sushis and udon from the auntie there. After a long time, we didn't get all of what we ordered. Apprarently the chef forgot some of our orders. Nevermind. Dessert was pudding. And the puddings were very good also. I wonder how do they make the puddings that nice. Sadly we were informed that we could only get 2 puddings each. So greedy luqi got the last grape pudding. By now the store was almost empty save for us and another group of 4 people. After eating our full, we left, satisfied.

The trip was definitely worth it; it was by far the best sushi place that i have ever eaten that lies within my current budget. Confirmed and plus chop better than bullshit Sa*** Sushi. To add, there is a loyalty reward program that enables you to have a buffet at $10 regardless of the timing once you collected 6 stamps. ( each stamp for each buffet i think)

So who wants to go eat with me again ??
